Nightclub & Bar Review
Le Cab is an upmarket restaurant and basement-level nightclub that sits between the Louvre and the Palais Royal in Paris. Holding court for almost a decade, the buzz isn’t the same as it once was but they still manage to bring in designer label crowds with a series of regular club nights that are more fun than you might expect.
The restaurant terrace upstairs serves neo-oriental cuisine and is worth a visit for the vibe alone, while downstairsyou’ll find the Ora Ito-designed nightclub with an interior with a style similar to both
Le Cab has a pretty tough door policy and brings in a pretty crowd with money to burn - the area dictates it, and it’s not often that you get to club underneath a world-famous monument, so to make sure you fit the bill dress to impress. The club also doesn’t really hit its peak until later at night, so aim for around midnight - 1am to get the full effect, although it’s generally easier to get in earlier than that as you can bypass the crowd of trendy regulars.
