Nightclub & Bar Review
Circle Bar is open every single night of the year, is famous for drawing in the biggest 20-30 something singles crowd in the city and also manages to attract the occasional celebrity and local sports star. That pretty much says it all.
The venue is cool in an almost-dive bar but ironically stylish kind of way, with dark floors, black velvet walls and ceilings highlighted by lipstick red lounges lining the walls and retro photographs and artwork hanging from every available surface. The whole venue focuses on the bar in the centre - the thing is shaped like a racecourse and acts as a magnet to the crowd who pack every available inch sinking beers and shooters late into the night.
The vibe at Circle Bar is super-wild and energetic, and the weekends go a little bit crazy, so choose your night wisely depending on the kind of evening you’re looking for. Given that it’s open every night of the year there’s always something going on, so if you want to keep it a little more low-key choose an earlier night of the week to hit up the circle.
The music is always for the crowd whether it’s coming out of the jukebox or being played by the DJ, and the later it gets the more hot and sweaty it is on that infamous dance-floor. It is what it is and Circle Bar is one almighty Los Angeles club.
