Nightclub & Bar Review

Graphic is a unique bar in Soho that has created a niche for itself where the name really means something. Supporting local artists who create everything from graffiti through to traditional graphic design, the space is always fresh as they bring in new installations every half year or so, and they’ve also done a great job of creating a stylish interior that doesn’t clash with the rotating gallery.

Clean painted brick, dark wooden floorboards and smooth grey ceilings all provide room to breathe, while comfortable leather lounges and light wooden furniture add to the mix. It has a vibe reminiscent of the foyer of a very trendy hotel, in the best possible sense. On top of that the drinks here are sublime, and while they specialise in Gin (with an amazing collection of the stuff), the cocktail menu boasts everything from perfectly made classics through to original creations served with gusto in little paint tins - very cool.

(Paint tins. Trust me – it’s all about the Graphic Paint Tin Punch). Red, Blue, Yellow, Green or White – pick your poison. Ridiculously delicious, and so easy to drink, plus those little (clean) paint tins make it a no-brainer. For the girls – Blue (Plymouth Gin, Briottet Blackberry liqueur, Fresh Blackberries, Lemon Juice, Orange Bitters and Cranberry Juice). For the boys – Yellow (Tanqueray Gin, Maraschino Dry Cherry Liqueur, Fresh Lime and Pineapple Juice, Peychaud’s Bitters and Fevertree Ginger Ale).

Graphic does some great contemporary food as well, with lots of shareable plates of moreish tapas, making it a great spot for lunch alongside a cool club at nights. Thursdays through Saturdays see guest DJ’s playing a mix of everything from Pop Rock through to Commercial House and Electro, and it’s always buzzing with a young after work crowd - it’s right near the HQ’s of some big multinationals - and also attracts a young and fashionable set from outside the area. Graphic is cool to look at, does amazing cocktails and has a great vibe - put it on the list.
