Nightclub & Bar Review
Situated in the Aria Resort and Casino, Haze Nightclub is a relatively new addition to the insanity that is the Las Vegas strip. With a wildberry interior full of modern flourishes, the venue is spread out over two levels with a far-out LED light display that takes up one wall, alongside banks of lasers that shoot neon bullets of light amongst the crowds of souped-up clubbers. Classic Vegas overload here. There are screens galore (is there such a thing as too many screens? Apparently not in Las Vegas...) beaming back images from the raised performance stage, huge metal light fixtures and hot chandeliers hanging above the dancefloor, and a loud, clean soundsystem that delivers plenty of boom.
The interior isn’t massive, and Haze gets capital P packed, but there are plenty of bars and the design gives Haze a feeling that it’s bigger than it actually is, with staggered levels providing a cool view across the club, especially from the VIP lounge upstairs that overlooks the action below. Haze Nightclub brings in the masses for big weekends, and its open Thursdays through Saturday nights (Thu, Fri & Sat: 10:30pm – 4am), so if you’re planning a week of clubbing then fit this one in towards the end so you can go out with a bang...
The drinks here aren’t cheap (but you probably already guessed that), and there is a cover on the door - you just have to grin and bear it unless you want to go for bottle service or know someone on the inside. Expect a line unless you’re a VIP - demand kills supply so it can be upwards of an hour, although if you’re in a group it’s a good time to do some networking before you make it inside. Also, because it gets so packed it can be worthwhile to get a section for yourselves if you’re in a big group, otherwise you’ll have a hard time sticking together in the craziness that is Haze Nightclub at two in the morning on a weekend.
